[player_tooltip player_id='1455350' first='Charlie' last='Taafe'] is a really talented second-year quarterback out of Vestavia Hills who has had a really productive year so far this season. Taafe is a really talented dual threat who has found ways to make plays with his arm and legs all year long. Last week against Tuscaloosa County, Taafe put together a terrific performance and helped lead his team to a 42-0 shutout win. Taafe makes quick decisions, has a great arm, is extremely mobile, and has a great understanding of how and when to use his legs. Taafe can throw the ball with some great accuracy- he does a great job reading defenses and consistently finds and hits receivers all across the field. Taafe keeps defenses honest with his rushing ability as well, he has a ton of speed and elusiveness he uses to make plays on the run. It was easy to see these skills show up last week against Tuscaloosa County, Taafe went out and completed 11-of-15 passing for 235 yards and 2 touchdowns, with 11 carries for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground as well. Taafe has played like one of the top passers in the state's 2027 class this season, he's developed nicely and has plenty of potential going forward. Watch out for him for the rest of this season, he's bound to keep making plays!

[player_tooltip player_id='1018700' first='AJ' last='Alexander'] is a really talented running back out of Dothan that has consistently produced the last few years on the ground for his offense. Alexander has played really well this season and has cemented himself as one of the top running backs in the state's 2027 class- this past week he had a phenomenal performance against Smiths Station and was a large reason why his team won 48-0. Alexander plays with some terrific speed and elusiveness, really good vision, and a lot of toughness that allows him to consistently make huge plays. Alexander does a great job finding open lanes and navigating his way through defenses- he rarely takes on contact and can find yardage every carry he gets. It was easy to see this against Smiths Station last week, he ended the game with 19 carries for 196 yards and 4 touchdowns on the game, consistently moving the chains and making scoring plays all night long. Alexander has been a really fun and talented player to keep track of these last two seasons, be sure to tune in and watch him play out the rest of this year!

[player_tooltip player_id='1506557' first='Arthur' last='McQueen'] is a really talented senior running back out of Stanhope Elmore that is coming off the best performance of his career this past week. Last week, McQueen put up one of the craziest running back performances this season will have to showcase. McQueen came up huge on the ground in Stanhope Elmore's 47-21 victory over Rehobeth, consistently finding ways to carve up their defense throughout all four quarters. McQueen is a quick and physical running back who can run in between and outside the tackles with a ton of efficiency. McQueen has a lot of speed, makes explosive cuts, and has the physicality to lower his shoulder and run through defenders. It's really hard for defenses to slow McQueen down, he consistently finds ways to break into the open field, and when he gets there, he's gone. All these traits showed up last week in McQueens memorable performance against Rehobeth- throughout the game, McQueen recorded 19 carries for an unfathomable 420 yards and 5 touchdowns on the night. It's been really impressive watching McQueen's senior season this fall, he's strung together a couple of dominant performances and shows no signs of slowing down- make sure to keep an eye on him!

[player_tooltip player_id='1538987' first='CJ' last='Durbin'] is a senior wide receiver out of Chelsea that has been a reliable pass catcher for his team's passing attack the last few seasons, but especially this fall. Durbin is fresh off an incredible performance against Helena that unfortunately came in a 38-28 loss last week. At 5'11 180, Durbin is a shifty wide receiver who thrives off his route running, quickness, and hands. Durbin is a sharp route runner who easily gains separation at every level of the field- he is a constant threat to opposing secondaries because of how easy it is for him to find ways to get open. When targeted, Durbin uses his hands to make some really impressive catches along the sideline, through contact, and through some tight windows as well. It was easy to see Durbins complete skillset this last week against Helena, he was all over the field making plays in this game, catching 12 passes for 201 yards and one touchdown on the night. Watch out for Durbin for the rest of this season, he's been playing really well and is bound to keep making plays!
