In today’s game of football there isn’t one specific way a Running Back body should look; Some are shorter and thicker, and then some are straight up Gazelles like Keyvon BookerKeyvonBooker

. Booker is an incredibly smooth Running Back who covers a ton of ground with long strides. He’ll continue on at Austin-East Magnet, after being part of an elite group of 2029 prospects that shined all of last season.
Another prospect that wasn’t at the first practice, but then quickly showed up big in the second practice was Austin East Road Runner, Keyvon BookerKeyvonBooker

. Booker looks to be a starter at Linebacker for Team Fire, but as a Running Back during the regular season, it’s his speed that really stood out at practice. He looked significantly faster than some of the Wide Receivers/Defensive Backs/Running Backs on the roster. Making a play on the opposite boundary from where he lined up, is completely on the table as a possibility with the way he gets from Point A to Point B. He was just simply a better athlete overall than the majority of kids on the field and it consistently showed throughout practice.
Keyvon brings a well rounded game out the backfield. As a running back he exudes all the tangibles you want at this position. He’s explosive, strong, and has crazy change of direction ability. When carrying the ball he’s looking to run through contact or make you freeze in time with a little wiggle. Keyvon can catch the ball and has good build up speed.
