Here is a player that has been used as a very versatile piece not only in the Brockport offense but the Brockport defense as well. Brayden Scaccia has played at RB, WR, OLB, CB and TE positions thus far into this season for Brockport. Scaccia is a very aggressive player that loves to attack at the football. Scaccia was able to make some huge tackles for his defense and even had a pick six at the CB spot against McQuaid Jesuit. The awareness that Scaccia has really jumped off the film. That awareness was evident on a block & release TD against McQuaid. Scaccia did an awesome job acting like a blocker and then sneaking through the middle of the field for his QB to connect with him. A really exciting tape to watch and should be a player for many collegiate programs to highlight.

This has been a very impressive OG that has blocked with a lot of brute power for East High School at the POA. Many defenders were seen thrown to the ground or simply pancaked into the turf by Reynolds when facing him in one-on-one situations. The athleticism that Reynolds displayed to get out on pull and lead blocks was also displayed on film. I loved the competitive nature and strength that Reynolds put on his mid-season film, even one time where he was able to block two defenders into the turf against Aquinas Institute. Continuing to develop in pass protection will be huge for Reynolds moving forward but this is an OG that paid huge dividends in the run game.

Even though Zach Couch is one of McQuaid Jesuit's best football players, I do not think he gets the credit that he deserves at the LB spot. Before the Aquinas Institute game, Couch recorded 43 tackles and a forced fumble. Couch also played a huge part on the offensive side of the ball at the FB spot. At FB position is where Couch was able to make critical blocks for his teammates to open up running lanes. At the LB position, Couch was impressive in his ability to get after ball carriers and attack with physicality. Picking up running lanes, reading out plays before they develop, and diving at opponents to make a tackle is what makes Couch a special player at the LB spot.

Here is an RB for Wayne High School that has been running hard for his offense picking up tough yardage over the mid-way point. I have been really impressed with the tape that Ashby has been able to produce thus far into the season. The ball carrier vision that Ashby has displayed has stood out and has allowed him to hit running lanes with a great amount of speed and force. Due to the physical nature that Ashby has, defenders had a tough time tackling Ashby in open space and in goal-to-go situations. Many times, Ashby was able to lower his shoulder and keep his legs moving to pick up necessary yardage for the Wayne offense. A true power back that Section V defenders hate to play against right now.

Simply has been flying around for the Aquinas Institute defense this season at the LB spot. [player_tooltip player_id='403057' first='Lucas' last='Leone'] has put together a very impressive campaign thus far and it shows throughout his tape. The ability to fly through gaps and make clean tackles on the ball carrier was impressive to watch. One of the biggest games for Leone was against Fairport where he was causing havoc for the opposing ball carrier. When Leone needed to stay patient by not getting overly aggressive shooting from his hip, he showed the ability to do so against both the run and pass. Plenty of times Leone stayed balanced before striking and it showed in his ability to move from point A to point B quickly while reading the play. I expect even more impressive games from this LB this season.

A very speedy WR that has been a huge deep threat for Aquinas Institute into the mid-way point of this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1165903' first='Thomas' last='Levans III'] has improved his route running a lot, and it shows in his ability to get separation deep down the field. DBs have had a tough time covering Levans III in man coverage and tend not to press him at the LOS. Levans III hand-eye coordination really showed in his tape as well being able to snag the football on quick out-routes to help with short gains to move the sticks. Being a WR that can do it all is something that I can see developing into Levans III game as he gets more targets and playing time as a sophomore. This will be a WR that will continue to be a star for Aquinas.
