:
“He is a big-bodied QB coming off an efficient junior year while handling a high volume of throws. Strickland doubles as a baseball player and it shows on tape, frequently making impressive off-platform and arm-altered throws. He has easy arm strength, effortlessly buzzing the ball out of his hand. He generates plenty of power with just the flick of his wrist and throws with the touch to teardrop passes into hard-to-reach areas. Strickland is one of my favorite QBs in the state due to his athletic traits and the ability to make difficult, off-script throws.”

is an exceptional quarterback and a smart one at that. He is a guy with good size in the pocket and someone you can count on to win a game for you. He has the arm talent you want in your signal caller. He will have a big senior year!

saw offers come his way. After an outstanding junior season for the Athens-area quarterback, Strickland saw a new offer come his way from Cornell. The big 6-foot-3 195-pounder was one of the more productive quarterbacks in the 2026 class across the state last year, throwing for 3,164 yards and 40 touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. He also added seven rushing touchdowns and should see a boost in his Prep Redzone ranking in the spring update next month.

holds 2 FCS offers, but his stock is likely to rise this offseason and it wouldn’t shock me to see several FBS schools enter the sweepstakes. An Athens-area quarterback coming off a tremendous junior season, this big 6-foot-3 195-pounder was one of the more productive passers across the state in the 2026 class, throwing for 3,164 yards and 40 touchdown passes. He also completed an impressive 72% of his passes, showing why he’s been one of the top breakout quarterbacks in the state this fall. He should be one of the very best in Georgia next season and could see some serious college interest and possible offers come his way in the offseason.

We’ve written about Strickland already this month as an “under the radar” quarterback, but he deserves even more recognition as he continues to light up defenses this year as a junior. The talented small-town quarterback has been one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the 2026 class so far this year, completing 74% of his passes so far. In total, he’s thrown for 17,45 yards and 21 touchdowns mid-way through the season. He’s hit the 200-yard mark in five of his seven games and has thrown for at least two touchdowns in every game. He’s showing that he can play at the next level, and he could see some offers come his way early next year.

A natural, talented quarterback on the rise from Morgan County, Strickland is a small-town quarterback with a live arm off to a really nice 2024 season this fall as a junior. This 6-foot-3 195-pound passer has been terrific through the first several games of the season, throwing for an impressive 1,550 yards and 19 touchdowns through his first six games, leading his team to a 6-0 record. Strickland is one of the state’s leading passers in the 2026 class and has thrown for at least 220 yards in every game but one, hitting the 300-yard mark twice so far. He’s a new junior quarterback to keep a close eye on.
