Ranked as the No. 47 running back in the state for the 2026 class, Monfort should see a big rankings boost this winter after a terrific regular season. The small-town back from Morgan County was tough to stop all season long, rushing for 1,528 yards and an eye-opening 31 touchdowns. He ran for at least two touchdowns in every game during the regular season and ran for at least three touchdowns in eight of his 10 games. He was a scoring machine all season long and one of the leading rushers across the 2026 class. He’s currently committed to West Georgia but flashed D1-caliber talent all season long.

Another impressive Athens-area back with impressive one-cut ability, Monfort is coming off a tremendous junior season where he proved to be one of the best ball-carriers in the area due to his above-average speed, agility, and ability to pick up yards after first contact. Monfort took off for an eye-opening 1,547 yards and 10 touchdowns in 10 games, averaging an impressive 155 yards per game. His best game of the 2024 season came against East Jackson where he ran for 233 yards and one touchdown. Look for him to have a giant senior season later this fall.
