Some of the top recruits in the nation and in the state have a full schedule this summer. Most of the prospects will be doing campus visits this summer and in this article, we cover two of the best players in the state and where they plan to visit.
Most of the schools the athletes will be visiting have already offered them. They are mostly just going to get a feel of what life could be like on the respective school’s campus.
Two of the state’s top prospects we have singled out and we have highlighted which schools they plan to visit. We are talking about 5-star Isidore Newman Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="138484" first="Arch" last="Manning"] and Saint James high Wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id="128240" first="Shazz" last="Preston"].
Manning and Preston are two of the state’s top prospects. Manning is one of the best QBs in his class and not just the state but the nation as well. The QB has a good amount of schools lined up to visit. The likes of which include schools such as Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, SMU, Texas, Notre Dame, the Ohio State, USC, and Stanford.

A very long impressive list to say for the top QB prospect in the nation. Manning has had an impressive career so far completing 340 of his passes out of 515 attempts and throwing for over 4360 yards with 55 touchdowns and only 13 interceptions. Some pretty eye-popping numbers for a QB who’s started since his freshman year.
[player_tooltip player_id="128240" first="Shazz" last="Preston"] one of the state’s best receivers in his class has offered to 20 divisions I colleges. This summer his calendar is full and will include visits to USC, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU.

These two are just a few of the prospects that will be taking trips this summer. We will highlight more as the week goes on but these two are the ones with the biggest question marks on their recruiting and where they might end up.
Although Ole Miss the Alma Motter of Uncle Eli and Grandfather Archie Manning have not offered yet. The Tennessee Volunteers of Uncle Peyton Manning have offered Arch and we will see how he feels about them when he makes his visit.
