Look out for Elam this season.

Last season, Elam tore it up at the JV level. Soloman’s tape displays his elite versatility. He can line up wide and burn your best DB on a go route, earn a ton of RAC on a screen, or deal damage in the wildcat. Elam is another great athlete at West Bloomfield. With a lot of talent having graduated, Elam should be on track for a breakout season on Varsity as a sophomore.

Elam has been a superstar on the 7on7 scene this offseason. Traveling to a ton of events, Elam has successfully gotten his name out there, and it’s paid off. Since March, Elam has earned offers from Southern Mississippi, Hampton, and Tennessee State.

I like Elam’s versatility a whole lot. I beleive he’s best utilized as a speed-in-space player, catching screens and returning kicks. Heck, he’s so good an athlete, he played some Wildcat last season.

Elam has also proven himself as a deep threat and as a DB. Elam absolutely has the speed and twitchiness to get behind the defense. Plus, he’s repped a ton of DB this offseason. I’m extremely excited to see how Elam is utilized at the varsity level. I feel that he’ll find a ton of success.
