Prep Redzone Florida will always promote everybody in hopes of them getting the opportunity of playing college football at the next level.</span></strong></em></span></p>

<p id="E23" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E24" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Mendoza is a three-star Prospect and one of the top quarterbacks in the South Florida area. He was selected first-team All-Dade County and led his team last season to the state championship and will once again look to lead them back to the finals this season. He currently has three offers from Lehigh, Pennsylvania, and Yale. He’s had a very good off-season winning the rivals Miami testing MVP. </span></p>
<p id="E29" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E30" class="qowt-font1-Arial"><strong><em>Strengths:</em></strong> he has prototype size and ability, he has an easy throwing motion and is very accurate </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">throwing on the run, has the arm strength to rip the ball through tight windows, he is very poised and does a very good job standing tall in the pocket and keeping his eyes downfield with the pass rush bearing down. Smart quarterback (4.95 GPA) that can consistently gets to his second and third reads.</span></p>

<p id="E50" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E51" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Portuondo will look to take hold of the starting spot for Coral Reefs this spring, he split time last season, but looked to have taken over by the third game of the year. He passed for 422 yards and a touchdown.</span></p>
<p id="E54" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0 x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E55" class="qowt-font1-Arial"><strong><em>Strengths:</em> </strong>he’s an athletic quarterback that shows pretty good accuracy on the first and second levels, completed 50% of his passes and shows the ability to throw with anticipation hitting receivers in stride.</span></p>

<p id="E73" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E74" class="qowt-font1-Arial">Smith is another big-time three-star pro-style quarterback from Miami, he’s the number 21 ranked quarterback in our Prep Redzone rankings. He currently has offers from Southern Miss, Tulane, FAU, Coastal Carolina and Arizona State University.</span></p>
<p id="E77" class="x-scope qowt-word-para-0"><span id="E78" class="qowt-font1-Arial"><strong><em>Strengths:</em> </strong>Smith is a big physically imposing quarterback that’s flicks the ball all over the field with ease, has the ability to get out of trouble with his legs, but keeps his eyes downfield. He throws a very good fade/corner route with placement and touch. Scans the field and makes accurate reads.</span></p>
