Joell had a good season being one of the few offensive threats for a.Hickory Ridge team which had its struggles all season long. Joell’s excellent height at 6’3 allows him to be a weapon in the red zone – I saw him live last season score a red zone TD using that ability. Joell also shows strong hands to make contested catches in tight coverage. Finally, Joell has enough speed to be a receiving threat all over the field. Joell has college interest from multiple Division 1 college football programs at this time.

The Ragin Bulls wide receiver had the lone bright spot on the night for the home team, when he caught a touchdown pass on 4th down in the corner of the end zone. Joell looked plenty fast and strong when running his routes, but he was unable to make more of an impact for his team, which was a credit to what Chambers was able to accomplish defensively. Joell will continue to be the #1 threat offensively for the Ragin Bulls, it will be interesting to see if they can find some other ways to get him involved in their offense.
