<!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Last Season (3-7)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Last season was a rough end for Yonkers Force; they started strong at 3-1 and then lost their final six contests. Although that final stretch came against very tough competition, only a couple of those games were competitive. They did get a win over Yonkers Brave early in the season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Prospect</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1294922"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66b53f8eeecaa"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Iyalekhue is a super raw prospect and is coming of a year where he did not play football, and while Yonkers Force does have a couple of ranked prospects Iyalekhue easily has the highest ceiling of anyone on the team. A basketball player who wears a size 20 shoe and stands 6'9 325lbs has division 1 traits that you cannot teach. With elite size and length, he has a special size to his game, and it comes with solid athleticism and quick feet. He needs to learn a lot and develop the fundamentals of the game, but he is going to stand out on the field and has a chance to end up a really solid player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Next Two Prospects</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1283694"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66b53f8eeed11"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Although in an open QB competition, Fields was the starter of Yonkers Force last season, and although the team struggled, Fields was a bright spot with over 1,000 yards rushing and nearly 1,000 yards through the air. Fields is really athletic and quick in the open field and can make plays with his feet. Finding more consistency through the air will be an important step forward for Fields. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1365258"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66b53f8eeed55"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Williams is a really quality offensive lineman who has good bend, quick feet, and shows consistent hand placement as a blocker. He maintains and finishes blocks well and is the best on Yonkers Force from a pure blocking standpoint. He may not be elite-sized like some teammates, but he is strong and consistent in the trenches. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Breakout Prospects</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yonkers Force gets an extra breakout prospect because both of these guys don't have film, but it could significantly influence the team's overall performance this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1365260"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66b53f8eeed9d"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Ogbanuga is a bendy athletic edge prospect who is long and should be able to impact the game both as a pass rusher and against the run. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1365259"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-66b53f8eeede0"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Boyd is another long, athletic edge guy who needs to add weight to become a better prospect for the next level but easily could be an impactful player on the edge for the Force. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Other Names to Know</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:table --> <figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><thead><tr><th>Name</th><th>Year</th><th>Position</th><th>Notes</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Israel Torres</td><td>2025</td><td>Center</td><td>6'1 290+ good size, starting center</td></tr><tr><td>Jayden Benique</td><td>2025</td><td>ATH</td><td>Top RB prospect </td></tr><tr><td>Joshua Testamark</td><td>2025</td><td>WR</td><td>Top returning WR prospect</td></tr><tr><td>Jayden Rosario</td><td>2025</td><td>LB</td><td>200+ bigger LB prospect</td></tr><tr><td>Jacob Henry</td><td>2025</td><td>WR/DB</td><td>Long WR prospect, had solid Elite V showcase performance</td></tr><tr><td>Kai Everett</td><td>2025</td><td>LB/RB</td><td>Short but thick LB/RB prospect</td></tr><tr><td>Xavier Rosenthal</td><td>2025</td><td>LB</td><td>Smaller LB prospect, SS/Rover type player</td></tr><tr><td>Kevin De La Cruz</td><td>2025</td><td>OL/DL</td><td>Key OL/DL player</td></tr><tr><td>Gabriel Joseph</td><td>2026</td><td>OL</td><td>6'5 300+ Young/Big OL prospect</td></tr><tr><td>Justin Vavrica</td><td>2026</td><td>ATH</td><td>LB/QB - do it all type prospect, could end up playing some QB</td></tr><tr><td>Tyshon Lightfoot</td><td>2026</td><td>WR</td><td>Twitchy WR prospect</td></tr><tr><td>[player_tooltip player_id='1624602' first='Elijah' last='Clark']</td><td>2026</td><td>LB</td><td>6' 220 - great size for LB prospect</td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2024 Schedule</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:embed {"url":"https://twitter.com/ForceFootballYO/status/1814044296729034920","type":"rich","providerNameSlug":"twitter","responsive":true} --> <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/ForceFootballYO/status/1814044296729034920 </div></figure> <!-- /wp:embed --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2024 Outlook</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Head Coach: Joe Venice (1st Year)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This season's schedule is a little lighter than having to play a bunch of Section 1 AA heavyweights in consecutive weeks like their finish to last season. The game against Yonkers Brave is one to circle because it was a competitive matchup last season, and right now, I think the game at Nyack is a really good test. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Three Things Going For The Force</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They have a massive offensive line; their size can compete with any team in the trenches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They are young with a new coach so that the culture can be built through the youth, and a new tone can be set early on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>They return two athletic options to play quarterback, and the offense features a couple of solid weapons they can utilize. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">One Area Of Concern</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Also, their strength in building a program from the bottom up is also their biggest weakness heading into this season; this team will have many young prospects and new additions involved. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Last Word</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There are a lot of quality prospects on this team, especially ones that, over time, if they develop their bodies and get to the ideal weights and get stronger, could become Division 1 prospects. I would say they are better today than last year, but this preview is the first year of something that will take multiple years to get the Force back to contending for the division. I think they have some intriguing young prospects who could really make some noise this season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
