and he also comes from the defensive side of the ball. Last season, we didn’t know much about Johnson going into the season but he would end up becoming one of Beggs’ more productive players in terms of tackles. And for him to put up those kinds of numbers from the secondary is an impressive note as well. Johnson would finish his junior season with over 100 tackles and became one of the team’s leading tacklers. Now, he’s going into his senior year and looking for more in 2024. He’s part of a defense that could end up being one of the better units in Class 2A-2 this season.
