Rogers added several D-II offers from Western New Mexico, CSU-Pueblo, Colorado Mesa, and Eskrine College among others. The 6’2″/220 LB out of Cimarron-Memorial has seen an uptick in interest from D-II and D-III programs with the athleticism and versatility he’s shown as both an off-ball inside backer and edge rusher this season. Rogers led the Spartans in tackles with 55 total and 5 TFLs on the season.

Rogers took in a gameday visit with UNLV in mid-November and added a handful of D-II offers from Western New Mexico, Colorado Mesa, Davenport, and Fairmont St. among others. The 6’2″/220 LB put together a strong senior season leading the team in tackles with 55 total and 5 TFLs. He’s an athletic tackler that showed his versatility as both an off-ball LB and EDGE disruptor. Rogers has a visit planned with Southern Utah next.

Rogers racked up 10 total tackles, 2 sacks, a pick-six, and 3 TFLs in Cimmaron Memorial’s 21-6 win over Cheyenne on Thursday. The 6’2″/220 senior LB showed his range in coverage making an impressive play on the ball and his downhill physicality between the OTs. He was aggressive filling gaps and played with power behind his pads making heavy hits on ball-carriers. Rogers is playing his best ball at the right time heading into the playoffs. #3-Cimarron hosts #6-Bonanza in the first round of the 4A Desert playoffs this Friday.
