About Dakota

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a leader that keeps my team on task and push forward at al times. Not looking at a play that just happened but focused on the next one.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I feel I’m a leader that leads by example. I put the hard work and extra hours in that it takes to be the best at my position which allows me to hold others accountable and we push each other as a team to a higher level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in basketball also. I play AAU on the Adidas circuit. I also pride my self on my academics and have received several awards for that.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Sports has taught me many things such as leadership, teamwork and humbleness. Always be humble in the eyes of adversity and you will always succeed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had never played football until my 7th grade year. During the last two seasons I have been challenged to be a leader and help my team learn how to win. We went from a team record of 3-4 to 2 straight seasons of 7-1 and winning our conference title.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that I can excel in football as well as academics.

As a sophomore, he has already thrown for 2,200 yards and 26 touchdowns with just four interceptions while adding nearly 300 rushing yards and nine scores on the ground. Dalton’s combination of size, arm talent, and athleticism makes him a threat both through the air and on the ground. His dual-sport background and natural athleticism only enhance his upside, making him a player to watch for major college programs.
