is a Dual Threat athlete who can get it done in the air and also on the ground. Chapman this past season put up impressive numbers putting up a total of 17 Touchdowns and completed 66% of his passes. I believe Chapman is a prospect that is to top his junior season and go all out one more season, Chapman has displayed elite arm strength and pocket awareness throughout his junior season. Chapman didn’t just throw checkdowns he threw bombs down the field and put it where only his guys can make a play on it which led to him having 1,793 passing yards.

has a decent amount of ability to get away from the pressure and still deliver a strike down field but not only that if that pocket is collapsing, he will use his legs to make a play, and he had done an amazing job of that this past season recording 668 rushing yards on 83 carries. Going into his last season he will be one of the best Quarterback Prospects of his class as he is currently ranked #9.

is division 1 bound quarterback or bust for the Hampton Crabbers. Another dual threat passer who when given time can really show off his arm strength. Chapman is 6’4 and 3.7 GPA, he also rushed for 18 touchdowns as a junior. Looking like a loose freight train when he is out in the open field, the young man is explosive.

Chapman led his team in a 43-7 victory over Phoebus. He went 7/15/160 yards/2 TDs in the air and 7 car/59 yards/1 TD on the ground. Numbers don’t blow you away, but keep in mind, kid makes good decisions and is competent with the football. He has led Hampton to a 6-1 record and they have averaged 41 points per game. As a sophomore he led his team to a 10-4 record. Marcus is tall and has pocket presence. His footwork is solid and regularly shuffles, resets and throws. He threw 17 TDs/4 Ints last year. If you like a tall kid, sees the field well, Marcus is that type. He throws on a rope and is accurate to the middle of the field, which he is very comfortable with. His stats are not astronmical, but he creates opportunites for whole team. He passes to multiple WRs and hits them in stride. Believe he is and FCS/G5 level QB. He had an NC State offer, but no longer, and currently no one else. He played great in a matchup vs another elite QB Thursday. He has great command, poise, and leads by example. He is accurate enough to garner attention from big programs. He may not have developed elite skills to make him college ready. But he absolutely has QB DNA running through his blood. With the opportunity to redshirt and college coaching, I only see him improving with his reads and timing. He can add 20 lbs. to his 6’4 185 LB frame. He’ll need to this to add this to take hits from the pocket at next level. I don’t think he’s is raw, but I think he needs to develop to become proficient at FCS/G5 level. Believe he has the tools and midframe to do this. Can become an elite kid at Mid-mjor level. Doesn’t have rocket arm, but can flirt with P4/NFL once he maximizes potential. Love how he sees the field, and throws to different WRs.

Marcus put on display his footwork and arm talent on Sunday. He shows great ability to move from within the pocket and make throws. His velocity and and accuracy make him a high upside quarterback who is difficult to intercept.

Listed at 6’4″, Marcus has elite height and a good frame with room to add mass. He has a big arm, making throws across the field. He is balanced in his pass set with good bend in the knees. Shows the ability to throw with different touches on his pass to add air when needed or to thread the needle between defenders. Good athleticism to maneuver the pocket and be used in designed runs where he gains yards quickly with his long strides. Finished 2024 as a 2nd Team All-Region honoree.
