I had the pleasure of evaluating Steven Ciampoli Steven Ciampoli 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL St Sebastians Ma. | 2030 New E at the Mass Elite camp in 2024, and let me tell you, he’s a standout! Though officially listed at 6’4″ & 255 lbs, his impressive frame suggests more growth potential. During the run-fit period, Steven shone on the defensive side, displaying remarkable athletic coordination and fluency in his movements. He consistently demonstrated a solid knee bend and proper pre-snap stance, giving him a competitive edge. His work ethic and physical capabilities indicate he’s ready to make an impact on the varsity team in the fall of 2025. Steven will be an 8th grader during the fall 2025 season. With his skill set and potential, Steven is pegged to earn a starting role on his High School varsity team as an 8th grader during the fall 2025 season. Exciting times ahead for this talented young athlete!

Our head New England high school scout Roger Silva came back from the Mass Elite Football camp this past June and was absolutely raving about Steven Ciampoli…and I can see why. The North Reading native checks every box when it comes to projecting the future of a pre-high school Defensive Lineman. At 6-foot-3 and 225-pounds he’s well proportioned with a frame that would have any coach in America drooling. Can see him as a Defensive End or Defensive Tackle depending on how he continues to fill out, because he’s already thick and powerful. All the talk about strength aside, his feet are also in sync with his upper body–a plus from his work on the basketball court. He was the unanimous MVP at the Mass Elite Football camp and is an obvious front-runner for being the top 2029 DL in Massachusetts.

Steven Ciampoli will be entering the 8th grade in the fall of 2024. At an early age, he carries a large 6’2″ – 210 lbs frame and appears to have additional growth ahead. He caught my eye during the run-fit period at the camp when he was taking reps on the defensive side of the ball. He has obvious athletic coordination and moves fluidly. He gets both cleats in the ground at pre-snap with a good knee bend. He was a unanimous selection as the Clinic MVP by all coaches in attendance. I see him as an early projected rising star in the class of 2029.
