Dajuan Culbert | Natchez
In the high school talent hotbed of southeast Mississippi, Dajuan Culbert is attracting significant interest from college scouts. Standing at 5-10 and weighing 160 pounds, Culbert is a physical player who excels in press coverage, disrupting timing with his jams and forcing receivers off their routes with impressive punches and physicality. His ball skills are exceptional, making plays in 50/50 situations and showcasing highlight-reel interceptions in his film.
Culbert anticipates throws well and reads offensive players’ body language to use his closing speed to beat receivers to the ball. His ability to read receivers’ body language allows him to turn his head in time to deflect passes effectively in downfield plays.
Dentravious Woods | Southaven
Dentravious Woods exhibits a playing style that coaches love. Though he stands 5-11, his high football IQ, anticipation, and aggressiveness make him play like he’s 6-4. Woods takes excellent angles on balls in the air and has impeccable timing for hard hits at the catch point, causing pass breakups. His tenacity and versatility are invaluable, whether he’s stepping into the box to tackle a running back, dropping into deep zone coverage with great awareness, or jamming his man at the line of scrimmage.
Kivan Stewart | South Pike
Kivan Stewart (5-11, 164) is a playmaker all over the field and a strong asset in punt returns. His hip transitions and lateral movements set him apart, allowing fluidity when tracking receivers and making impressive breaks out of his backpedal setups. Stewart’s hard-hitting style and strong tackling foundation make him effective in the nickel position and in the inside game.
Kewan Miner | Amite County
Kewan Miner (5-10, 145) is a versatile athlete who excels at quarterback, running back, receiver, and defensive back. His elite one-cut speed and open-field agility make him a threat on offense. This speed and agility also serve him well in the defensive backfield, where he consistently beats offensive systems to the deep parts of the field. Miner’s impressive hands allow him to make interceptions rather than just settling for pass breakups when he plays aggressively.
