As college camps and showcases provide rising prospects the chance to become top recruiters, National Scout Drew Johnson has been on the move to track down those who deserve the recognition for their play. Let's get into some of the top performers from this spring/summer who have locked in notable offers.

Michael Clayton | QB | 2026 | Seminole | @MikeClaytonQB1

Recent offers: UCF, Auburn, Miami, Ole Miss

We will keep letting everyone know that this kid is the Real Deal. He was recently ranked a four-star prospect but has been performing like one for a while now. Clayton has taken advantage of the off-season to draw even more attention to his true upside. As noted, the 6-4 QB has solid footwork mechanics he uses to deliver accurate strikes while using good arm strength and ball placement to separate himself. He's recently picked up some big-time offers in the spring/summer period.

[player_tooltip player_id='1368296' first='Larry' last='Miles'] | ATH | 2026 | Jones | @d1larry123

Recent offers: Miami, Michigan State, Arkansas

Miles has shown off good speed and football IQ to be a producer at the next level. He's now getting attention from major universities after a few notable camp performances, most recently at the University of Miami where he dominated in front of former UM greats. He has played really good football this offseason and is another dog with perimeter playmaking ability that flashes good speed and solid route running.

Sammy Etienne | WR | Class of 2025 | Lakeland | @TheRealestSam3

Recent offers: West Virginia, Colorado, Oregon State

Etienne has made the big-time move over to state champions Lakeland High School. Have watched this kid take off this spring and there's no doubt he's the real deal. He's shown off potential to play the WR position but Etienne is a lockdown corner with great athleticism. Etienne has been one of the biggest risers in the area after showing off his versatility throughout the regular season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1144254' first='William' last='Jackson'] | QB | 2027 | The First Academy | @WillJacksonQB3

Recent offers: South Carolina, Arkansas

Jackson has all the tools and momentum to develop into the top QB prospect in the state. He recently picked up some notable P4 offers and interest with plenty of time left in his recruitment process. He's been on my radar for some time now and only continues to impress in the offseason with solid camp performances. Keep your eye on this kid college coaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='1632407' first='Dariyon' last='Gordon'] | DB | Class of 2026 | Ocoee | @dariyon_gordon

Recent offers: Georgia, FSU, Georgia State

The class of 2026 continues to produce DOGs as [player_tooltip player_id='1632407' first='Dariyon' last='Gordon'] adds to a long list of potential P4 prospects. He put on a decent show this offseason and has some of the best man coverage skills in the area. He has a good frame at 6-1 but it's the mentality to win and compete that will separate him in the long run.

Joaquin Kavouklis | QB | 2027 | Tarpon Springs | @joaquinkav10

Recent offers: UCF, Syracuse, USF, Toledo

Joaquin has made a move to Tarpon Springs this offseason where he will be a rising talented QB under center with some familiar weapons. I told you to look out for this kid to start separating himself in the 2027 class and bring in some big-time offers. He has a natural throwing release, good IQ, and developing arm talent/accuracy that will take him to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1251731' first='Devonte' last='Anderson'] | ATH/DB | 2026 | West Orange | @vonte2_

Recent offers: Florida, Colorado, Kansas

Anderson has been one of the top risers in the area this summer as he recently picked up a big-time SEC offer from the University of Florida. He's a versatile and athletic West Orange product who has dominated the competition at the prep level on both sides of the ball. Still has plenty of time to tweak his frame and technique to be a producer at the P4 level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1317582' first='Makih' last='Johnson'] | WR | 2025 | Tarpon Springs | @Makihjohnson2

Recent offers: UCF, Howard, Kent State

Johnson is getting deserved attention this offseason with a P4 offer coming from UCF, and more. He's since made a move to Tarpon Springs where he will retain connection with rising 2027 QB Joaquin Kavouklis. Johnson has good speed for his 6'2, 190-pound frame and has shown his reliability to bring down catches consistently. Should be one of the more productive wideouts in the area for his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1286902' first='Anthony' last='Howard Jr'] | RB | 2028 | Auburndale | @Anthonyh_2028

Recent offers: Miami, UCF

As we noted a few weeks ago, this kid has been stamped as the real deal before taking a carry at the varsity level. He only proved that to the onlookers by locking in two in-state P4 verbal offers from Miami, and UCF. That's high upside and college potential belief at the highest level as a rising 8th grader to bring in those offers. Look out for Howard to make noise early in the Polk County area.

Aljonon Oliver | OT | 2025 | Riverview | @Aloliver_77

Recent offers: EKU, JSU, Bryant

The only trench monster on the list has locked in some deserved college offers heading into his senior season. He's shown off crazy athleticism at some of these college camps as well as a notable spring performance that should have him on even more college coaches' radars. At 6-5, 290 pounds, this kid can lock in some legit offers this fall season.
