Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
A dual-threat quarterback having a giant junior season down in Southeast Georgia, Jackson is a strong athlete who can run and make big throws with his arm. He was one of the more promising quarterbacks in the area coming into the season and has shined as a passer while being a capable runner on the ground. Jackson has thrown for an impressive 1,250 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for another 151 yards and two more scores. He’s one of the more dynamic quarterbacks in the area and is currently ranked as the No. 22 QB prospect in the state for the 2027 class. If he continues to develop and improve his game, some D1 interest and offers could start heading his way.

Jackson generated some buzz coming into the season after moving into Camden County. Now, we finally have some junior tape to take a look at. His size, physique, and physical traits are the basis of intrigue around him. He is a big, durable force in the pocket with a strong arm. His mechanics look cleaner, tighter, and quicker, which is something I will continue to monitor as he continues his development towards being an FBS QB prospect.

A big quarterback with promising arm talent, Jackson is a big 6-foot-4 power runner who transferred from Florida to Camden County for the 2025 season. He didn’t light up the stat sheet last season but he did showcase the ability to be a weapon in the run game with above-average arm strength. His best football is way ahead of him and he has a chance to win the starting job this fall. If he does, don’t be surprised if he has a giant upcoming junior season. He’s now ranked as the No. 22 QB prospect in Georgia according to Prep Redzone.
