[player_tooltip player_id='276200' first='Grayshaun' last='Swain'] possesses elite pursuit skills, which he uses to make life difficult on opposing QBs. He frequently finds himself in the backfield thanks to his ability to drive blockers onto their heels and shed. Once free of blockers, he flashes good speed to the football and has the motor needed to flag down the football from any spot on the field. At times, he could drive more upon contact, but he does possess the athleticism and frame needed to eventually turn speed to power. Swain might not be as agile as other pass rushers in the class, but his effort and pursuit of the football can compensate for some of that. He should get a crack at the P4 level, where he can eventually crack the rotation as he adjusts to the speed of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1098646' first='AC' last='Walters'] has steadily picked up FBS and P4 offers since 2022, making him one of the best RBs in the state. He is a stout 5'11 200, possessing a low center of gravity, allowing him to stay on his feet through contact and drop the shoulder to drive when needed. He is a vastly vertical runner, making one cut to get north and relying on his explosiveness to drive through running lanes. When needing to create his own yards, he relies on start-stop in his footwork and subtle head fakes to get defenders off-platform. Walters frequently takes direct snaps at QB, where he should have developed a more nuanced understanding of how to attack running lanes. Walters might not be on the field every down, but he has a high floor and can be a cloud of dust runner at the FBS level.

[player_tooltip player_id='250236' first='Jamari' last='Miller'] is a technician with his feet and an absolute burner. He instantly flashes as a returner, where his violent cuts and effortless change of direction allow him to take advantage of even the smallest of running lanes. He is rarely caught from behind, possessing the speed needed to break the tape and outrun angles. As a receiver, he can overwhelm DBs with his explosive footwork, often leaving DBs on the ground or reeling in a hurry. He is agile and fleet enough to handle any advanced route concept once he gets to the next level. He is a slight 5'10 155, but absorbs contact and tracks the ball through traffic well for a smaller guy. Miller doesn't get a whole lot of love nationally, but he can make an early impact on special teams and shine if given enough YAC opportunities.

[player_tooltip player_id='1098609' first='Makai' last='Simpson'] is a big, athletic two-way player with FBS offers under his belt. There is plenty of intrigue around him as an RB, where he is a pass-catching threat out of the backfield and has the size needed to finish runs on his feet. He plays DB the way you would imagine an RB does, flying downhill from the S spot and making firm contact on ball carriers. He is experienced as a pass catcher, has enough change of direction to take the yards available, and is tough to tackle. For those reasons, his upside as an RB prospect intrigues me. However, he can be a striker at S and help defend the run game. Regardless of where he settles positionally, he is a size-speed threat with FBS upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='286150' first='Calvin' last='Hughley'] is a patient, yet athletic RB prospect who plays with an edge. He is on the smaller side at 5'8 190, but he is built from the ground up and runs with good balance through contact. He can stop on a dime, allowing him to get north on outside zone plays and quickly bounce the ball outside when searching for grass. His acceleration is impressive, allowing him to slow-play while blocks develop and eventually take off. He doesn't waste any movement in the open field, staying on course to the endzone until he has to drop his shoulder and take on contact. Hughley is a bowling ball back and would perform well in a zone running scheme, where he can utilize his vision.

[player_tooltip player_id='1098647' first='Gavin' last='Bowlin'] is a giant for Leeds at LT with mostly run-blocking reps on his junior tape. He is devasting on down blocks, playing with solid pad-level for his 6'6 280 frame and driving defenders out of gaps. His impact-blocking potential is noticeable, launching his shoulder and arms into the chest of defenders and knocking them off their cleats. His pass set is a little raw, but he is a decent athlete and has the length to catch rushers and anchor down. He is athletic enough to get out on screens and caravan blockers to the endzone, where he uses a large blocking radius to occupy would-be tacklers. Whether or not he can develop more twitch will determine if he sticks at LT or moves to RT. He could contribute early on the interior as well. His combination of size and power will land him on an FBS roster next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1098611' first='Terrell' last='Russell'] is an athletic QB prospect that produced against good competition as a junior. He is a thin, athletic 6'0 170 and has plenty of mobility. He can be dangerous as a runner, but he uses his speed to dodge pressure and extend plays. He plays through the pocket, stepping up to avoid pressure instead of bailing on the play. He has a quick release and throws the ball with good spin. He appears to play in good timing with his receivers, perfectly placing the ball in stride and sometimes throwing WRs open. Perhaps the best part of his game is his off-platform skills. He is able to get the ball out in time with defenders around his feet and his arm. He also does a good job of getting the ball out while on the move. Russell is smooth, athletic, and still has the bulk of his physical development in front of him.

Darby is a thin, yet athletic WR prospect with the ability to play inside-out. He is a fluid athlete, running all across the field and effortlessly flipping his hips to change direction. At his release points, he can break down defenders with his footwork, tossing up turf when he cuts and breaks off his route. Not only can he separate at the top of his route, but he flashes sticky hands and can pluck passes off the turf and play above the ladder. He can come across the field on reverse and sweep plays, where he can catch the edge and get vertical in a hurry. Darby is a multi-level playmaker and his ability to separate during critical parts of the route and his physical upside is intriguing.

Johnson is an athletic IDL prospect with plenty of room to add more play strength. He is a dynamic block shedder, battling off blocks with his hands and working blockers off platform with his electric footwork. At times he will split out and rush off the edge, but he will eventually fill out and slide inside. His play strength is still developing, but he plays with good balance and can anchor down while batting in running lanes, proving difficult to move. When clear of blockers, he flashes good pursuit skills, which should help him to better rush the passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='591290' first='Wade' last='Dobbins'] is listed as a WR in our database, but he is a versatile two-way player who could project as a DB. Dobbins is one of the more fundamentally sound tacklers you'll find in Alabama, settling down and mirroring ball carriers before striking with good pad level and wrapping up. He is fluid in his hips, which allows him to quickly adjust to the path of ball carriers and beat them to a spot. In zone coverage, he might not have high-level range, but he is fluid enough to snap from one receiver to another and take the appropriate angles to undercut the football. Dobbins fits the "really good football player" mold and has the chance to elevate his game if he can develop more speed. He might be able to find the field early at a small school thanks to his tackling prowess.

[player_tooltip player_id='491424' first='Keiland' last='Baker'] is a projectable athlete at QB with adequate arm strength. He has a clean, fast twitch delivery and can mix up trajectories on the football. He can put it on a line to the sidelines and can also bounce it over safeties into the bread basket of WRs. He plays with good pocket mechanics, dropping clean into the pocket and firing with all spikes in the turf. His composure is the best part of his game, calmly navigating pressure and showing toughness while taking hits when he fires. Baker can be more than a chain mover as a runner, running with a purpose and isn't afraid to fight himself free from would-be tacklers. Baker looks like a gamer and could end up outperforming higher-rated players than him in college as a result.

Therman Moore is a D1-caliber athlete with good measurables. At 6'0 180 with 11.43 speed in the 100M this spring, he checks the height/weight/speed boxes. Moore mostly takes direct snaps at QB on offense, where he possesses the speed and playmaking ability to pick apart defenses. Not only does he possess breakaway speed, but he maintains his top-end speed while weaving in and out of running lanes, making it very difficult to catch him from behind. He will line up at corner on defense, where he checks plenty of boxes physically. He also comes downhill hard and drives through the football at contact. He played plenty of safety as a sophomore in 2022. Moore is dangerous with the ball in his hand, which could project him at WR. Regardless of where he ends up, Moore is an impressive athlete with D1-caliber tools. He holds a few offers.
