I thought Dietz’s Junior Film was solid – he checked a lot of boxes for an OL prospect, but in his 2024 fall film so far, you see some minor improvements to his game that are a big game changer for me – last season, his hand usage/pad level was a little off at times, but this year I think those have been assets to his game. He shows an excellent job of consistently getting to the 2nd level and has some intriguing off-field accolades as one of Section I’s top heavyweight wrestlers.

Dietz out of Henry Hudson is a quality prospect who also is a really strong heavyweight wrestler in Section I. Dietz is one of my favorite D3 offensive line prospects because of the motor he plays with on tape, the positional versatility you see on tape, and his wrestling acumen. Dietz plays with a strong lower half and good overall bend, both can be attributed to his wrestling background.
