Section I: Five Recruitable Offensive Prospects

Multiple Section I prospects have shown in recent years to have early success at the next level and there have been multiple notable section I prospects who have made big moves in the recruiting world landing at Division 1 schools. With Section I being one of the most competitive areas of football in New York there are plenty of prospects who will excel at the D3 levels of football based on their Junior film and with big Senior seasons could get some interest from D2 or FCS schools. Joseph an explosive RB/ATH prospect for Suffern had a strong 2023 season which included a 300+ yard performance against Mamaroneck. Also a standout basketball player Joseph's football film showcases some really quality explosiveness and twitch to his game. Joseph's overall athleticism is some of the best in Section I and he is a player who could garner some D2 or FCS looks with another strong season. Graziano out of Pearl River may not be the biggest TE/WR prospect at 6'3 200lbs but he showcases on film he uses his length and size as a receiver with the ability to high point the football. Graziano can be Hybrid TE/WR prospect at the next level and has the athleticism to be an effective weapon in the passing game. Blackwell-Williams out of Nyack is one of my favorite QB prospects in Section 1 and he showcases solid dual-threat ability and some throws on film that showcase arm talent that can play at the next level. Blackwell-Williams formerly of Paramus Catholic had a strong season for Nyack and throws a really nice deep ball on tape. Blackwell-Williams has good touch pushing the ball down the field and does a good job of resetting his feet and making throws under duress. Joshua out of Arlington is a twitchy athlete who can separate in the short area of the field. Arlington had a large group of Senior WRs last season so there were not a ton of reps to go around the group. When Joshua was targeted you see the ability to separate with his twitch and quickness. A two-way player I think his best position is wide receiver because of his ability to separate and his overall athleticism can be used creatively in an offense as a gadget/slot weapon. Dietz out of Henry Hudson is a quality prospect who also is a really strong heavyweight wrestler in Section I. Dietz is one of my favorite D3 offensive line prospects because of the motor he plays with on tape, the positional versatility you see on tape, and his wrestling acumen. Dietz plays with a strong lower half and good overall bend, both can be attributed to his wrestling background.
