Aalbers’ best work during the night came out of the pocket, showing some impressive accuracy on throws that QBs won’t usually make. Aalbers has led MOC-Floyd Valley to winning their last 3 games in a row, and they will now look to maintain that momentum heading into their first postseason game against Sergeant Bluff-Luton.

Aalbers played well firing the ball down the field from the pocket, hitting passes over the middle, and he also proved elusive, being able to move out of the pocket and improvise a play to get the team down the field, and Aalbers was in control of the offense throughout the entire night. Aalbers should continue to garner attention for his excellent leadership of the Dutchmen offense as one of the better unsigned QBs out of Iowa remaining in the class of 2025.

Against LeMars in week 4, Aalbers finished 15 of 21 for 262 yards, 2 touchdowns, and a pick, while adding a rushing touchdown. Aalbers throws a pretty deep ball, with great velocity and solid touch on his passes, and with his arm, he was finding the gaps through LeMars’ secondary all night. The Dutchmen will remain very much in contention this season with Aalbers under center.
