Wide Receivers

8 - [player_tooltip player_id='1148569' first='Ethan' last='Driver'] - Davie County - Coming into the combine, I was excited to see Ethan compete, and he did not disappoint. The 6'2 prospect is a smooth route runner, and he has some excellent hands. Looking at his film, Ethan did a lot of damage out of the slot and is not afraid to make tough catches over the middle. He is an excellent possession receiver, and has some good speed in the open field to go the distance.

13 - [player_tooltip player_id='483642' first='Immanuel' last='Collins'] - Shelby - Immanuel is another player who I was excited to see in person, and he delivered. An athletic slot-type wide receiver currently, Immanuel showed some excellent speed while running routes in 1-on-1s. I also liked the smoothness in which Immanuel ran his routes - there was no wasted motion and Immanuel always caught the football with his hands, not his body.

23 - [player_tooltip player_id='1273308' first='Rashawn' last='Williams Jr.'] - 71st - Rashawn was an electric route runner throughout the combine. I liked his speed and explosion out of cuts in particular. A 2026 prospect, Rashawn has excellent agility in the open field and he has the speed to be a threat everytime he touches the football.

Running Backs

21 - Benjamin Young - St. David's - A 5'7 150-pound prospect, Benjamin did well during individual change of direction drills during the running back specialized portion of the combine. I thought Benjamin showed some overall good speed exploding out of cuts as well. Watching his highlight film, I like his vision and the way he sets up blocks by his offensive linemen.

27 - Fabian Diggs - Ragsdale - Fabian was one of the running backs that stood out to me very quickly. I thought he ran with excellent confidence, had a good wiggle and agility to his running style, and I liked the way he handled the change of direction drills especially. Fabian also did well in the one-cut drill and got downhill immediately with great acceleration.

34 - [player_tooltip player_id='653512' first='Shon' last='Pone Jr']. - 71st - Shon was another running back who stood out to me very early on in the combine. I thought he ran well overall, even through the testing portion of the combine. He showed great agility and exploded every time he was running a drill with the football in his hands. I thought he had excellent size as well for a running back - he appears to be the type of player who gets stronger as the game goes along. As a 2027 prospect, Shon was very impressive and has a bright future ahead of him.

Offensive Line

53 - [player_tooltip player_id='1252926' first='Luke' last='Cecil'] - Orange - Luke was quite simply the best offensive lineman in attendance. At 6'2 and 290 pounds, Luke was a dominant interior player in the offensive line vs. defensive line 1 on 1's. Luke showed excellent power and hand placement against interior pass rushers and stunted their charge at the snap repeatedly. It looks like Luke has some interest from Division 1 schools in the eastern part of the state, but if he ventures out during the upcoming camp season, I have no doubts that his interest should increase exponentially and potentially result in some offers coming his way.
