Camaree Gooden Camaree Gooden 5'11" | 160 lbs | ATH Gardendale | 2027 State AL is a talented DB out of Gardendale who put together a great season in their secondary last fall.

Gooden is a physical outside corner who finds ways to come up with stops against the run and pass nearly every down. Gooden is excellent at quickly identifying and reacting to plays, he consistently puts himself in great position to help his defense make plays. Against the run, Gooden is terrific in pursuit and quickly closes in on RBs to make tackles for little to no gain.

Gooden is even more dominant against the pass- he has a knack for getting his hands on the ball and jarring free passes from WRs. It’s seriously impressive watching him in coverage, he’s a physical DB who dominates in man-to-man and consistently wears down WRs to make huge plays on the ball.

Gooden made tons of plays last fall, ending his sophomore year with 52 total tackles (32 solo, 3 for loss) and 17 PBUs.
