Following yesterday's article, we have 7 more LBs who stood out to me during Prep Redzone's spring combine. I expect big things from all of these athletes in the 2024 season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1120625' first='Luke' last='Henry'] 6'2" 205 lbs Eden Prairie 2026

Quite clearly one of the top performers, Henry blew scouts and coaches away with his fantastic testing and success during one-on-ones later in the day. He started with an impressive 4.8 40-yard dash before following that up with a pair of 4.6 shuttles and a 9'1" broad jump. Henry's straight-line speed as his size was incredibly impressive, and while he may not have seen any varsity time last year, his potential has me eager to watch his debut later this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248620' first='Calan' last='Pilon'] 6'1" 200 lbs Robbinsdale Armstrong 2026

Among the most physical of all the athletes I saw last Saturday, Pilon looks to follow in the footsteps of previous great Armstrong LBs. He recorded over 20 tackles last year as a sophomore on varsity but looks to take on a bigger role in 2024. Pilon's lateral movement was what caught my eye early, he snagged a 4.4 time on the shuttle drill and a 7.2 on the L-drill. Pilon is a high-upside LB who I think could turn heads and take a big leap in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248720' first='Mikey' last='Williams'] 6'2" 200 lbs Osseo 2025

Williams was on the shortlist of guys I wanted to watch early on. He tested fairly well with a 5.1 40-yard dash, a 9' broad jump, and a 7.9-second L-drill. Williams was incredibly competitive throughout the day and his size guarantees positional versatility. He could very well end up being a solid LB for the Orioles in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201980' first='Michael' last='Kelecic'] 6'1" 230 lbs St. Thomas Academy

If I had to give out a BMF belt camp, Kelecic would get it hands down. He's uber-physical, ultra-competitive, and built like the Winter Soldier. He tested fairly well with a 5.0 40 and a 4.7 shuttle drill, but he showed out during all the competitions with the RBs. Kelecic also boasts an incredibly long wingspan which he made great use of when closing in on ball carriers and in pass coverage. If you asked me to pick the biggest stock riser from the combine, it's Kelecic.

[player_tooltip player_id='234774' first='Carter' last='Carstens'] 6'2" 210 lbs Chanhassen 2025

Carstens is a mainstay of PRZ combines, and every time I've seen him he's managed to improve. He ended his junior year with 100 tackles with 12 TFLs and 3.5 sacks. Carstens also tested incredibly well. He ran a pair of 4.8 40s, a 4.4 shuttle, a 9'3" broad jump, and a 7-second L-drill. He's gone incredibly under the radar with his recruiting and it's a darn shame. Carstens is a physical dog who produces at a high level whenever he is asked to. He'd make a fine addition to most collegiate defenses.

[player_tooltip player_id='923835' first='Aidan' last='Boche'] 6'3" 195 lbs Park 2026

A lanky positionless linebacker out of Park of Cottage Grove, Boche tested incredibly well and looks primed for a breakout junior season in 2024. Boche started the afternoon with a pair of 4.9 40s, a 4.5 shuttle, two 9'1" broad jumps, and a 7.2 L-drill. His long wingspan created problems for runningbacks when they were running routes, and his closing speed and ability to track the near hip were impressive. Boche is a high-upside name to keep an eye out for.

[player_tooltip player_id='743245' first='Brayden' last='Lorentzen'] 5'5" 170 lbs Byron 2025

I love smaller linebackers as prospects and let me tell you why. They all carry a certain swagger with them, a certain attitude where they don't fear anyone, no matter how much bigger they are. Lorentzen perfectly embodies that swagger. He tested fairly well with a 5.0 40 and a pair of 4.8 shuttles, but you can see the dog in Lorentzen when he competes. He has quick feet and does a great job of swooping to the ball carrier before the tackle.

Following yesterday's article, we have 7 more LBs who stood out to me during Prep Redzone's spring combine. I expect big things from all of these athletes in the 2024 season!
