Royal was a name that caught my eye in Warwick. He is a guy we have as one of our top QB’s in the 2028 Class, and he made a great impression during the showcase. Hailing from Middletown, this showcase was local for him, and he showed out for his hometown. Royal had solid combine numbers, and while he is on the shorter side with his build, he has tons of room to grow. His mechanics could use some work, but his balls had great touch on them, and a good velocity. I liked his accuracy on said throws, and during 1v1 drills he gave his receivers the best chance to make plays.
