Next up in our positional evaluations of the 2025 class we dive into the Athletes! These are prospects that might not project to one specific position, but their physical tools jump off the charts and could play a number of different positions. Here is 2025 Film Room: Northern Suburbs Athletes!

[player_tooltip player_id='299479' first='Brennan' last='Saxe'] (Fremd – 6'3” 170)

Saxe had 76 receptions for 925 yards and 7 touchdowns on the season. Definitely projects as a WR at the next level. Great size at 6'3" and once he adds more strength will be even better. High point balls in the redzone. Seam route is one of his favorites. Runs well after catch. Gets off line of scrimmage well and is so technically sound overall including on short routes. Adjusts to ball in air and is extremely effective on go routes. Can play on inside or out of slot. Sound on short routes.

[player_tooltip player_id='835152' first='Nathan' last='Williams'] (Lake Forest – 5'7” 165)

Williams is a small guy at only 5'7" but he has a TON of JUICE! As a slot receiver he is creative with the ball in his hands. Really good speed which is shown in the punt return game as one of the better return guys we have evaluated in 2025. Very impactful on special teams. Like what he brought as a corner reacting to short passes for picks. Makes plays downfield on the ball recovering. Smooth back pedal and tackles well in space wrapping up low. Such a fluid athlete.

[player_tooltip player_id='819665' first='Antonio' last='Moore'] (Warren – 6'0” 165)

Moore is a 6'0" safety with range. He is a long and athletic playmaker that breaks well on the ball. Good instincts and ball skills. Tackles well in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='166514' first='Donovan' last='Dey'] (Carmel – 5'11” 185)

Dey is an athlete that plays mostly running back. Good vision and quick cuts. Powers through tacklers and his legs are constantly moving!

[player_tooltip player_id='537237' first='Finn' last='Degroot'] (New Trier – 6'0” 160)

Utility player with size that runs a lot of jet sweeps motioning from his slot position.

[player_tooltip player_id='252491' first='Picasso' last='Ruiz'] (Prairie Ridge – 6'0” 180)

Ruiz is a quarterback from Prairie Ridge. Good frame and solid size. Physical runner that follows blocks and protects the football out of their triple option attack. Most of his runs are right up the middle. Will have to play another position in college unless they run the same triple option scheme.

[player_tooltip player_id='301862' first='Jack' last='Valentinas'] (Glenbrook South – 5'10” 150)

Valentinas is a possession wide out. Good hands and instincts as a route runner. Impactful return man that can take it to the house. Flashes as a defensive back with his instincts getting picks.
