The Akron Commit will be in charge of a new defense this year as he too made the decision to transfer to Hayfield earlier this year. Reeves is one of the best linebackers in the country and he has a tall task on hand stopping West Springfield offense tomorrow. This will be arguably the most talented offensive squad Reeves and his unit have faced and you can best believe that is all the motivation he needs.

Two-time state champion middle linebacker Devin Reeves Devin Reeves Devin Reeves 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Hayfield | 2025 State VA announced his intentions to enroll at Akron University next fall today. The reigning all-state linebacker Reeves was between the Zips along with Pittsburgh and Liberty, but it was Joe Moorhead that locked him in.

Racking up 153 tackles his junior year not only earned Reeves all state honors but numerous FBS offers too. Akron, Pittsburgh and the University of Delaware are the most recent schools to come calling, he is an every down linebacker that can control your defense.
