I could be wrong, but I believe Wireman was playing up and he looked great. He was actually the first QB of the weekend I pulled to the side. He was throwing with anticipation, wasn’t hesitating to let it loose, and was putting the ball in good spots. He knew where his outlets were when the timer was running low and he always gave his guy a chance for the ball. His placement and timing is what could set him above. He doesn’t panic, stays cool, and makes a decision based on what he’s actually seeing develop in-front of him. It’s just 7 on 7, but seeing him read a defense and go through progressions like that at a young age is exactly what you want to see. A very solid outing for the young QB from Tennessee.
