There is a big 4A quarterfinals matchup between 4th seed Cheyenne and 5th seed Western High School on Friday night. Cheyenne will be the favorite going in and rely heavily on senior running back Treasure Harris Treasure Harris 5'6" | 160 lbs | RB Cheyenne | 2025 State NV to lead the way offensively. Although Harris is undersized he is an explosive running back who has next-level acceleration and speed. Look for Harris to take control of the ground game early on Friday night.

Every time Treasure Harris Treasure Harris 5'6" | 160 lbs | RB Cheyenne | 2025 State NV got to 14 carries last season, he also made it to 100 yards. Someone who seemingly gets better as the game goes on, he’s already shown he can take a real beating and continue to get back up; and at 5’6″ 160 lbs, that’s pretty rare to find. At that size, he’s also incredibly hard to get ahold of for the opposing defenses. His quick-twitch really shines whenever someone breaks into the backfield with a clear shot to Harris and fails to bring him down. What may be most impressive watching his tape is his ability to consistently avoid the big hit. As he continues to grow, Harris’ explosive playstyle could turn quite a few heads in 2024.

Harris was a new addition to the 2025 WL for the athleticism and skillset he showed out of the backfield as a junior for Cheyenne. He’s a small, compact RB at 5’7”/150 with the kind of burst and explosiveness coaches look for in a playmaking scatback. He shows good vision out of the backfield, can shoot through narrow lanes at the LOS, and can make the first defender miss. Look for continued growth and athletic development from Harris, who totaled over 600 yards and 5 TDs last season.
