Lansing Area Defensive Linemen to Watch In 2024

He has good size for the defensive tackle position at 6-1, 318 lbs. Nehf shows good explosiveness when taking on blockers. His play strength combined with his explosiveness allows for him to drive any blocker back. Nehf is strong against the run and has played a key role in DeWitt being good at stopping the run. This allows him to play the read option well. He shows good burst and has the ability to shoot into the backfield and create tackles for no gain. McAllister shows a natural feel for rushing the passer. I love how quickly he can get off blocks and make tackles. McAllister lines up outside at the defensive end position. He has good play strength and can take on blockers well. Turnley is a good athlete who can jump up and deflect passes. He sets the edge well and shows the ability to take on and defeat blocks. Corey has good speed and shows the ability to track down ball carriers. Mrva gets off the snap well and does a good job of stopping the run. He has ideal size for the defensive end position at 6-2, 240 lbs. I like Mrva's ability to rush with power. Like Turnley, Mrva shows the ability to jump up and deflect passes. Mrva does show a natural feel for rushing the passer. I like his game a lot and you really see why this <strong>Corunna </strong>football team was so good this past season. Mrva also plays offensive guard for <strong>Corunna</strong> on offense and is very strong on that side of the ball as well. Look for him to make a lot of plays in 2024 and be a key part in <strong>Corunna</strong> be a strong offensive team with his blocking ability. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
