MIAMI – This past Saturday and Sunday, Under Armour rolled into Miami and Ives Park for two days of exposure and showcasing some of the amazing talent we have in this state.

While there were other states who came to compete, this was all about Florida – southern Florida in particular.

With younger prospects coming on Saturday – Sunday was all about those nationally recognized names, and they did not disappoint.

Because we promote and expose these athletes year-round, the prospects who emerge from an event such as Under Armour, is great, but nothing that those who follow this year-round, are surprised by.

With national writers and analysts on hand, the focus was on prospects from all over the country and in the state of Florida.

Our objective at these showcases is to check out the Miami-Dade and Broward prospects.

On this day, players such as Pembroke Pines West Broward receiver [player_tooltip player_id='826438' first='Joshua' last='Moore'], Homestead receiver [player_tooltip player_id='826432' first='Cortez' last='Mills'], Miami Booker T. Washington standout defensive back Miami Central defensive tackle newcomer [player_tooltip player_id='1209116' first='Floyd' last='Boucard'] (Mobile Christian, Alabama), Miami Northwestern receiver [player_tooltip player_id='826530' first='Jade' last='Card'] and his teammate, defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='951704' first='Zion' last='Paret'] were watched by everyone on hand.

Moore and Mills are among the best in the nation.

This past season, while covering many teams, you come across prospects that very few know about or watch.

Fort Lauderdale Westminster Academy receiver Dwayne Wimbley Jr. is one of those prospects we had the pleasure of watching live. He is not only an emerging football talent but is also a stellar basketball prospect.

While several positions are always watched, the south Florida stop always features some impressive receivers.

In addition to Moore, Mills and Wimbley, prospects such as Cocoa's [player_tooltip player_id='953682' first='Jayvan' last='Boggs'] (Ohio State commit), [player_tooltip player_id='826461' first='Winston' last='Watkins'] (Naples First Baptist), Miami Central's [player_tooltip player_id='830588' first='Kha'leal' last='Sterling'] and West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman transfer, [player_tooltip player_id='826485' first='Naeshaun' last='Montgomery'] - Coconut Creek Monarch's [player_tooltip player_id='1202457' first='Antwaun' last='Parham'], 2026 receiver Jaysen “JRoc” Lopez from Miami True North Academy, [player_tooltip player_id='1317660' first='Teddy' last='Hoffman'] (Delray Beach Atlantic) and Miami Northwestern 2026 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1206215' first='Calvin' last='Russell'] were also impressive.

One of the running back prospects we have been watching for several years, following him to Cardinal Gibbons as a freshman is [player_tooltip player_id='1247419' first='Derrek' last='Cooper'], who was singled out as a top running back. He is now at Chaminade-Madonna, and while he is a running back, the thing that has always made him special is his ability to lineup just about anywhere.

Other players singled out were Miami Norland twins [player_tooltip player_id='953693' first='Darryll' last='Desir'] and [player_tooltip player_id='953809' first='Mandrell' last='Desir'], who have everything going for them – on and off the playing field.

Another standout we had the pleasure of watching since the 8th grade is USF commit [player_tooltip player_id='749044' first='Caleb' last='Harris'], a technically sound offensive linemen from St. Thomas Aquinas.

Coconut Creek Monarch's [player_tooltip player_id='831351' first='Bryan' last='Auguste'] – another prospect we spotlighted during the off-season – was impressive as those who had no prior knowledge of his talents were bowled over.

Rising senior Miami Central linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='826463' first='Ezekiel' last='Marcelin'] was also a head-turner, which everyone figured. He is quick, can cover and get it done in the classroom.

The future is also bright with Miami Carol City Class of 2026 standout [player_tooltip player_id='283750' first='Jordan' last='Campbell'], who committed to Miami.

Watching the defensive backs was also plenty of fun, and beside Hanks, there were others who have already made a lasting impression. St. Thomas Aquinas 2026 cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1206194' first='Justice' last='Fitzpatrick'] is the younger brother of NFL defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick.

[player_tooltip player_id='826451' first='Chris' last='Ewald'] was also someone who stood out as he is getting bigger and more physical as a corner at Chaminade-Madonna. He also gets it done in the classroom. Pembroke Pines Flanagan safety [player_tooltip player_id='1128054' first='Jonathan' last='Carter'], and versatile Miami Christopher Columbus safety [player_tooltip player_id='827359' first='Bryce' last='Fitzgerald'].

The quarterback position had numerous standouts – and 2026 Plantation American Heritage prospect [player_tooltip player_id='212265' first='Dia' last='Bell'] continues to showcase some major skills.

Last year at this time, there was some buzz with [player_tooltip player_id='1314104' first='Bekkem' last='Kritza'] competing for the starting job at Miami Central. He left, but now as a Penn State commitment is back and will play for the Rockets in 2024.

Miami commit [player_tooltip player_id='826508' first='Waden' last='Charles'] of Palm Beach Central was his usual dominating self. The state of Florida is known for its running backs, and Naples' [player_tooltip player_id='830584' first='Shawn' last='Simeon'], who eclipsed 2,000 yards rushing as a junior at Naples, was as good as advertised.

Port Charlotte defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='749683' first='Myron' last='Charles'] was one of the higher-ranked players who made their way south.

When it came to the offensive linemen, 2026 [player_tooltip player_id='1249175' first='Kerby' last='Vital'] of West Boca, who comes over from Chaminade-Madonna, and [player_tooltip player_id='1315702' first='Dylan' last='Frechette'] of West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman did well too.

Adam Balogoun-Ali, a 2026 linebacker from North Palm Beach Benjamin School tested well.

Lake Minneola's [player_tooltip player_id='1144254' first='William' last='Jackson'] is a name to put away for the future. The 2027 quarterback hasn't started a game yet, but he's athletic and can spray it around.

Jacksonville Zarephath Academy's quarterback Jordan Durham was also impressive.

At the completion of the camp, the following athletes received invitations to 2025 Under Armour Next All-America Games:
