Expert Analysis
Oliver West | Prep Redzone Scout
Whether it was the way he was built, the way he carried himself, or the way the ball came out of his hand, California’s own Furian Inferrera was a cut above his peers at the Gophers’ second prospect camp of the summer. Verified size and well filled in, Inferrera was easily and noticeably the best quarterback in attendance in terms of overall arm talent and ability. Accurate, consistently on-the-money in terms of accuracy and timing, big arm that could put more difficult throws on a rope, and ball placement on throws both in the pocket as well as off-platform. Standout top performer in all drills, as well as 1v1s. Unfortunate lower body injury to close out his 2025 junior season but he’s looking healthy, and the arm is looking lively, in person and up close. Great overall body of work on Sunday. Gophers’ got a good one.

Inferrera was injured last season and only threw three passes and has been Mater Dei’s backup quarterback the past two seasons.
He has shined at camps the past two offseasons, particularly at the Under Armour Next camp. Inferrera is committed to Minnesota and will play at Mission Hills his senior season.

Inferrera looked very good in the varsity action he saw for Mater Dei last season and has shined at offseason camps. I liked his performance at the Elite 11 Regional and at the Under Armour camp.
He has plus accuracy and has improved his arm strength. Inferrera knows when to put touch on the ball and when to put some heat on it. He is committed to Minnesota.
