Mageo has taken visits to Michigan, Michigan St., and Arizona this month. PRZ CA’s #4-OL prospect in the state’s 2027 class has been one of the biggest sophomore stock-risers this offseason picking up seven P-4 offers including Michigan, Kentucky, Washington, UCLA, and Arizona. He’s a powerful athlete at 6’3″/265 that shows great footwork and technique as a pass protector and can eliminate defenders in space. Mageo is one of the top overall talents among San Diego’s sophomore prospects.
Walking out of the tunnel and onto the field at the Big House was crazy. I can’t imagine how it is on game day. Thanks @reid_kuhl for being our tour guide around campus, around the football facility and around downtown. #GoBlue @UMichFootball @grant_newsome pic.twitter.com/c7puZBtyU2

Mageo combines his skill and technique to be one of the top 2027 offensive linemen in the state. At 6’4” 280 lbs. he shows great versatility to be able to execute different types of blocks effectively. Can clear lanes and create movement as a run blocker, can mirror movement in pass protection, and get out in front of screens/perimeter plays. Shows high level ability blocking in space using his athleticism and footwork. He takes good angles and adjusts on the fly to maintain positional leverage and engage. Excellent hand usage, he’s patient with his strike but is powerful upon contact. Good ability to control opponents and move them based on the play and his assignment. Aggressive at the POA, he consistently demonstrates that accelerate through contact and finishes his blocks. Recruitment has really taken off since the new year bringing in eight additional offers all from P4 programs.

Mageo picked up his first Big-10 and Big-12 offers from Michigan St., Utah and Arizona in January. The 6’3″/265 OL out of Oceanside looked like a future P-4 starter in his standout sophomore campaign. He’s a strong, extremely physical blocker that can eliminate defenders, pick up blocks in space and keep a clean pocket from his LT spot. Mageo also added an offer from San Diego St. this month.

Mageo’s continued to put his name on the 2027 radar after putting together a solid freshman season at OG for Oceanside. He’s impressed with his athleticism and physical skillset on the offseason circuit picking up four D-I offers since January (Arizona St., Cal, Washington St., and UNLV). He’s quick and coordinated in his movement/footwork, excels at picking up blocks in space, and should continue to add strength and mass to his 6’3”/240 frame. Mageo’s quickly establishing himself as one of the early top OL prospects in San Diego’s 2027 class.

Mageo is one of the more athletic offensive line prospects in the state regardless of class, and is a terrific athlete that can get out in space and block second and even third level defenders from his OL position. He shows quick and fluid feet, strong lateral movement abilities in pass protection with a strong and patient strike, and consistent leg drive downfield before finishing defenders. He has already collected a few P4 offers from the likes of Cal, Washington State and UNLV, and will be one of the top offensive line prospects in the state in this 2027 class over the next few seasons.
