Michael played above and beyond my expectations. He came into the night having a strong senior season and carried it through Week 8. The senior QB was accurate and a smart decision maker. He picks apart a defense with ball placement, and every once in awhile we got to see him go deep to his bigger targets for big plays. Michael also did really well with his mobility and athleticism in the pocket, keeping plays alive and his eyes downfield. The senior did a great job stepping up and the big scenarios too like 2 minute drives and turning turnovers into points. Don’t overlook the senior QB.

out of Madison West. Michael started the day off putting together a strong combine. He ran a 4.64 40, 7.65 L-Drill, 4.62 shuttle, and jumped 8’8″. Speed like that could open the door to him possibly being a recruit at positions outside of QB even. But as a passer Michael also had a solid day. He is a kid that wins with smart ball placement and the accuracy/touch to be able to place it in those spots consistently. On top of the dual threat ability Michael is also a solid baseball player too. Check him out!

. Michael is a QB who wins with clean, consistent mechanics. He is an athlete who is able to make every rep from the pocket look the same because he has worked to make those mechanics automatic. With the consistent mechanics comes consistent control over ball placement. Michael had a very accurate day Sunday. He placed the ball where the coaches wanted it and did well from the pocket and during designed roll outs.
The ’26 also has been able to maximize his arm strength. Michael isn’t the biggest of the bunch, but he has learned to get everything he can into the ball when he needs to get it there quickly. Michael can definitely put the ball on a rope to the short-intermediate levels of the field. It was a solid day all around for the junior QB.

Keep an eye on the junior QB out of Madison West this offseason. The has solid size at 6’3″ 170 lbs, and I was pleasantly surprised at the arm strength and velocity that Michael is able to play with while not being the biggest athlete. Over and over the junior delivered the ball on a rope with smart ball placement. The entire field was available for Michael to target in Oak Creek. I want to see him continue to develop his footwork and mechanics because as they get cleaner and more consistent it is going to translate to Friday nights.
