Question I want Answered: What’s his ceiling rank/stock on our site?

I’m going to stay patient on this one. This event will help me learn more about Toprani, how he operates, his mechanics, how does he lead a huddle, small things can be learned, even in this setting. I express the same sentiment I relayed with Brodzinksi here with Toprani. Toprani has the opportunity to leave a lasting mark/impression as I leave Pittsburgh for Philly on Monday morning. The opportunity is his to be had.

William Toprani William Toprani 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Central Catholic | 2027 PA , formerly out of Ringgold HS, is a name to keep an eye on concerning the future of the quarterback position at Central Catholic. Toprani only has 3 passes to look at on Hudl from this past Fall. The few reps on Hudl showcase throws under the lights, so I can assume that Toprani is getting reps in games where Walls and the offense are up big on their opponents. Toprani’s freshman tape had him placed on our 2027 rankings, inside the Top 200 at that. It will be tough to keep him at that level unless I can figure out his true role this season, along with possibly seeing a bit more than three throws out of him. I will do further digging come 2027 ranking time.

William Toprani William Toprani 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Central Catholic | 2027 PA played last year at Ringgold High School but has now transferred to Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Looking at his film from last year he played at a high level for Ringgold. He is a good quarterback in the pocket. He does a good job of reading the defense and knowing exactly where he wants to go with the ball. He is good in the pocket by making subtle moves to evade defenders. Since he is at Pittsburgh Central Catholic his playing time has been cut down, but Toprani is a good athlete who could eventually start for them at quarterback.

William Toprani William Toprani 6'0" | 165 lbs | QB Central Catholic | 2027 PA is a classic pocket quarterback. He knows exactly where he wants to throw the ball and does a nice job of getting rid of the ball quickly. Toprani also has excellent footwork in the pocket. He does a good job of getting in his drops, setting his feet, and throwing the ball well. Toprani had limited reps last year, but I expect he get more of the opportunities next season.
