Radford’s mauler Reece Honaker Reece Honaker 6'4" | 275 lbs | DL/OL Radford | 2027 State VA is looking more and more like a Big Ten lineman in my opinion. He too saw a small bump improving his stock from 45th to 41st overall. Honaker will get looks for his work on both sides off the line, he earned all region honors. He is a 6’3 and and 275 lbs., with more room to grow. Honaker has a long wingspan with a 4.0 GPA, would imagine after the portal season wraps up that he will get a number of offers.

The 30-front defensive end for Radford backed up his ranking with another good season. He totaled 66 TKLs, 17 TFLs, 4 Sacks, 1 FF, and 3 FR. He has a good 6’4″ frame with good athleticism, allowing him to be quick off the ball to engage offensive linemen quickly at the point of attack. You notice his relentless motor on the field, always in a ready position to read and react through the play. He has very good strength to hold his gap with good length to keep linemen out of his chest. Very good lateral movement in run defense down the line of scrimmage against the run. He can recover and reset when initially beaten and still provide pressure on the play. Also plays Left Tackle on offense where he had a good season. He has good discipline in his Pass Protection, keeping a half-man relationship and a good anchor. Has the strength to win in Gap blocks and the athleticism to get to the second level. Expect another big season from Reece this fall.

Reece has been on my radar ever since I first saw his film. He has very good height and frame at 6’4″. Quick off the ball, knows how to use his hands in his pass rush to win the rep. Great reps throughout the 1v1s and looked good during the individual position drills. Currently in our Top 50 players in the Class of ’27, and he showed why. Colleges need to turn an eye to him as they start looking into the class of 2027.

This kid is a maniac along the defensive line for Radford I am glad to see he just signed up, he will be fun to watch. Reece Honaker Reece Honaker 6'4" | 275 lbs | DL/OL Radford | 2027 State VA is the 35th ranked prospect in our 2027 class coming off an All District selection as a sophomore. He is 6’4 and 240 lbs. of solid muscle, really fun to watch him come off the snap and terrorize ball carriers. My guess is he will be a problem to block during the 1vs1s like he was this past fall.

One of our top defensive line prospects for the Class of ’27, Reece is continuing to play the 30 front DE position and has picked up where he left off. He is making a living in the backfield using his hands to engage and shed blocks and has the lateral quickness to make tackles down the line. In one play he gets caught inside on a WR screen and corrects with very good hustle to make a tackle for a few-yard gain.

Now 6’4 with a 4.0 GPA Reece Honaker Reece Honaker 6'4" | 275 lbs | DL/OL Radford | 2027 State VA can be downright dominate for the Radford Bobcats these next few years. He comes off the line with good awareness and leverage, once he starts using his long reach the young man could have double digit sacks.
