Today, we look at the next wave of talent that I highly recommend college coaches continue to look into. There are plenty of steals still on the board. Zach also plays with excellent acceleration out of breaks. The senior tracks the ball in the air and is able to adjust to put himself in position to get his hands on it and bring it in. He doesn't have elite length, and that may force him into an off-ball LB role, but the athletic traits can't be questioned. Damarcus has exceptional burst/acceleration out of his stance and when closing on the ball. Chappell has developed very effective hand fighting moves that allowed him to get the hands of the OL down, and from there it was easy for him to get past them and to the ball. The subtle lateral agility further makes him a difficult man to block and stay in front of. He has prototypical size at 6'2u0022 190 lbs and that frame is packed with strength. He is able to elevate and high point the ball. His hands are strong to make catches through contact. That size and strength also make him an impact as a downfield run blocker. Once he clamps his hands onto DBs he drives them where he wants to Thad is smooth through his breaks as well and has a solid base of route running to continue to develop. As a ball carrier, Tevyn is a north-south runner with powerful leg drive and consistently plays behind his pads to break tackles, move the pile, and create yards after contact. As a blocker, Tevyn's leg drive and leverage allow him to dig LBs out of running lanes. He is agile while engaged to prevent him from slipping off the block. Tevyn also has past experience as an LB. Martez is 6'1u0022 220 lbs, has a solid get off at the snap. We see that he is able to bend and dip under OTs. Jones has the balance and body control to be able to make 90 degree turns in his rush path to get to the QB quick.
