Gilbert led Inglewood in receiving last season with 950 yards and 11 touchdowns. He has the speed and route running ability to be a deep threat but he excels at making plays after the catch on underneath routes. Gilbert is dangerous in the tunnel screen game and on drag routes.
He had offers from Washington State and San Jose State back in 2024 and I like him as a slot receiver at the college level.

Gilbert is an offensive weapon and electric playmaker with the ball in his hands. 5’10” 170 lbs. but he’s a strider with track level speed that translates well to the football field. Extremely quick to accelerate and breakaway from defenders in space as a WR, RB, or KR. At receiver, he’s a plus route runner that is fast out of his stance to release and can drop his hip level stopping on a dime to break off defenders at the top. Possesses a wide route tree with his ability to go across the middle or stretch the field vertically. Strong ball skills, he’s got good reactionary quickness at the catch point to adjust and come down with tough receptions in traffic. He’s at his best with the ball in his hands after the catch or out of the backfield where he can create and be a threat to score every time he touches it. Recruitment is picking up with his first P4 offer coming in from Washington State to add to his handful of G5 offers.
