Today, we will be kickstarting my breakdown of the top talent with the offense as we take a look at some under the radar quarterback in Kentucky to watch for next season.
In the first place spot on my list is Trajdon Davis Trajdon Davis 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Henderson County | 2025 State KY , a quarterback at Henderson County High School. In addition to outstanding footwork and composure in the pocket, what stands out about Davis is his ability to quickly scan the backfield for open receivers. I also like how Davis can utilize his arm strength and accuracy at the goal line to complete quick touchdown passes.
I am additionally impressed with Armani Gregg Armani Gregg 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Dixie Heights | 2025 State KY , a quarterback at Dixie Heights High School. Gregg makes a considerable difference under center due to his explosiveness in the air, proving his quick release and precision on long passing. I also like how Gregg can find his receivers from along the edge, utilizing his unpredictable playstyle to put his team on the scoreboard.
Claiming the number three spot on my list is Kanyon Johnson Kanyon Johnson 6’5″ | 205 lbs | QB Madisonville-North Hopkins | 2025 State KY , a quarterback at Madisonville-North Hopkins High School. What impresses me the most about Johnson is his ability to sling bullets deep into the backfield, showcasing his ability to quickly put the offense in prime scoring position. I also like Johnson’s electric speed on the ground, proving he can blast past the defense into the backfield.

Coming in at number five on my list is Kade Goodin Kade Goodin 6’2″ | 170 lbs | ATH Collins | 2027 State KY , a quarterback at Collins High School. What makes Goodin so impactful is his multi-faceted playstyle, proving he can escape the defense on the ground as well as make crucial completions in third-down scenarios. I also like how Goodin can utilize his physical edge in the pocket, dodging and weaving tackles to find an open man in the backfield.

Also worth mentioning is Cole Cornell Cole Cornell 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Bullitt East | 2026 KY , a quarterback at Bullitt East High School.
