Derrick did extremely well during a Western Michigan camp that I was at last summer. Great testing times, but I wasn’t able to save them.
Tape is solid at DB. A great game against Divine Child. Decent ball skills- needs to improve there. Needs to improve overall explosiveness. Really, really doesn’t know on tape what he does with no pads on. A good running back as well. Decently shifty and could be a D2 guy there as well.

I’ve only really heard about Derrick, but the tape tells me I should be fairly excited! He is the definition of a true athlete! He can run, he can catch, he can tackle. He has elite balance and great speed. I am excited to see where he reps at the most this weekend and what his testing numbers come out to be. Derrick will no doubt be vying for a camp MVP spot!
