McDonald is not the biggest defensive lineman, but what he lacks in size, he more than makes up for with quickness and heart. He gets off the ball quickly, making it almost impossible for an offensive lineman to get an initial block on him. His strong hands help him get off blocks and set the edge.

McDonald is 5’9″ and 240 lbs. I know our stat line has McDonald listed at 219 lbs but he is every bit of 240 these days. He is like a tree stump in the middle of the line. He plays an aggressive style of defensive line. He is very athletic to the point he can make plays on the opposite side of the field. In 2023, McDonald finished with 88 total tackles and 16 sacks. 38 of those tackles were solo while 50 of them were assists.
