Like we talked about in Part 1, there was a lot of talent coming from the Left Coast to AYF Nationals down in Florida earlier this month. In particular, teams and athletes from the greater Los Angeles to San Diego areas took center stage. In the article below, take a look at some standouts from the AYF 13U D1 National Champion, OG Ducks. The team featured athletes who traveled across the country to participate–and they did not disappoint.
<!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1125083"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"- There may have been more talented prospects on the OG Ducks 13U team, but in my eyes, there was not a harder worker on the fieldrnrn- Sisifa was the last athlete I got a picture of during the week, because of how difficult it was to take it. He literally never came off the field for the Ducksrnrn- Stood out at left guard and defensive tackle throughout the week. Fast, physical and unrelenting. Recorded as many pancakes as he did tackles for loss","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1125112"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"- Playing the opposite guard from Sisifa, Rosen (right guard) he was a big reason the Ducks point up points at willrnrn- Was part of a dominant offensive line that helped the Ducks average nearly 40 points per gamernrn- Tough and aggressive kid that appeared to enjoy run blocking over pass blocking","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1125508"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"- On a team full of studs, Muasau is the kid I'd send off the bus first with his size and buildrnrn- Played defensive tackle at a high level as well, but loved what I saw out of him as a left tackle on the offensive side of the ballrnrn- In the five quarters I watched this OG Ducks team play, I didn't see him give up a sack or even allow any pressure on his side","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1125513"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"- The man in the middle for the OG Ducks, Brunt did a nice job at the Center position for the Ducksrnrn- With the weapons this team had, it seems simple to say, but Brunt just had to execute with clean exchanges and this team was going to winrnrn- At this point, he is a little shorter than ideal, but Brunt is built like fire hydrant.
