With those type of stats in the state of Texas where football is king you'd expect a kid like De La Garza to have a ton of offers on the table instead of a ton of interest. Although he doesn't have the offers on the table yet, that's all about to change here in the next few months. Alberto standing at 6'1 has the size, speed, and athletic ability with a 4.56 40 speed, a 6”7 wingspan to go along with this 10+ Broad Jump, 35 INCH VT and a 4.1 SS to go with it. Those numbers alone are probably the main reason why he was rarely targeted this season.
