This consistency has continued into his senior season, with Bo recording 50 tackles, 6 TFLs, a sack, and an interception through seven games. Bo is an interesting player with a very versatile skillset that could see him play safety or linebacker at the collegiate level. Gable especially excels as a run defender, where he flashes quick instincts when reading his keys and the ability to explode through his gaps when going downhill. His explosiveness allows him to penetrate the backfield cleanly, but even when he gets caught at the LOS, Gable has shown that he can stack and shed blocks to continue pursuing the ball. Gable also impresses with his ability to flip his hips and drop into coverage. With a reported 4.49 40-yard time, Gable has the speed to keep up with most receivers while also having the agility to change direction on the fly out in space. His great range and closing speed allow him to get to the ball from nearly anywhere on the field.
Gable has turned it up a notch this season as the Bulldog’s leading rusher with 714 yards and nine touchdowns on 114 carries. He’s also recorded 11 receptions, 141 receiving yards, two receiving touchdowns, and a kickoff return TD to show the overall versatility and playmaking he can bring to the field.
