the Navy commit has been one of the best offensive linemen in the league. He has helped pave the way for an undefeated Exeter Township. He has helped Exeter with 377 yards of total offense through 5 games. An impressive effort for him and his squad so far.

is a good defensive lineman prospect. He has a good combination of strength and athleticism for a defensive lineman prospect. He has recently committed to Navy. Below is what my colleague

, who too provides his program with quality offensive line reps. That being said, despite Wegman carrying around 260 pounds, I like Wegman’s tape on defense. First off, there isn’t much to go off of in terms of quantity of OL reps. Definitely quality, yet just a minute or so of tackle-worthy tape isn’t enough to justify a rank at that position. Much more tape aligned head-up on tackles, or shading outside. Exeter varies their line fronts, sometimes having three-man fronts, the next having four. Tough for me to gauge from my perspective still a big edge-setter and effector in run support. Great grades, can snap the football, participates in T&F. Is a tackle body aligned against other tackles, so you can’t expect great speed, burst, or twitchiness off the snap, pad-level is high too. His overt power is what sticks out, reps where this young man is tossing kids aside at will. Powerful leg drive equates to a ton of displacement when at DE. Every limb attached to Wegman works toward bringing down the ball carrier, heavy puncher/hitter. Probably a project at the next level, a good one, one that will be molded to a coach’s liking”.

about four weeks ago. Wish I had waited, Exeter Township’s top-ranked defender is staying hot on the recruiting trail.
Check-in on Wegman’s Twitter to see him throwing up some serious weight, you can also see him put in work at State’s (shotput and discus). The talented T&F participant and former baseball player is one of the surer bets for FCS programs recruiting the middle of Pennsylvania. The offers are pouring in. Since our last update on Wegman, the 6’4, 275-pound OL/DL has received offers out of Stony Brook, Richmond, Monmouth, and Colgate. FCS programs are hounding and clamoring to get ahead on all things Wegman. A noteworthy mention, Navy also put their names in the Wegman hat. I am interested in what the chances are of Wegman attending one of the military academies.

has been on since the New Year commenced should be documented. I’ll go on record, although I placed a D1 grade on the Exeter Township junior, I didn’t quite foresee Wegman tallying this many offers before his senior season.
Offers in January: Dartmouth, Brown.
Offers in February: Cornell, UMass, Lafayette, Lehigh, Army WP, Maine, Harvard
Offers in March: Yale, Buffalo, Princeton, Columbia, Bucknell, New Hampshire,
Offers in April: Bryant, William & Mary
Wegman picked up his fourth G5 offer on the first of May, this coming from UConn. Wegman’s ceiling is much higher than I had previously imagined. Awesome seeing him heating up the way he has as of late.
