I’ve been steadfastly against ranking athletes in the eighth-grade because there are too many varying factors when attempting to be accurate. However, in a state like Tennessee where it is predominantly school-based football, it is significantly easier to rank kids earlier since the majority of the playing field is level. With that said, if I were to rank these 2028 quarterbacks, Teague would be on my short list of prospects in the conversation for that top spot. Like

is the youngest brother of Molly Teague, a 2026 student-athlete that Prep Dig National Analyst Chris Fitzgerald says, is “certainly a D1 Volleyball prospect” and former Ohio State standout running back Master Teague III, who had cups of coffee with the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. While his time in the high school spotlight is forthcoming, all little brother Myles did this year as an eighth-grader was lead Blackman Middle School to the Rutherford County championship game, earn All-County honors and break the single-season record for touchdown passes in a year. Still rail-thin right now, once he matures physically the mailman is going to need some time off after delivering all the college letters he’ll soon be getting.
