Maurer had plenty of big plays through the air as well as on the ground. He threw for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns - he also ran for 109 yards with 2 more touchdowns rushing. He was able to score the games first touchdown on a long touchdown reception for 65 yards. Loyola was able to control the field position game due to the right foot of Baker. Baker was able send all his kickoffs for touchbacks as well having a monster 74 yards punt that was able to flip the field for the Ramblers.
