He translates the weight room to the field as he displays good strength at the POC with a good striking ability when he gets squared up. Pretty dynamic LB as he’ll react super quick and come downhill to fill alley and lay hat, but also has a good understanding of coverage responsibilities and is athletic enough to man up on TE’s or RB’s if needed. Really good range with the ability to make plays sideline to sideline as he frequently takes great pursuit tracks. He plays fast, strong, and smart, and checks nearly all the boxes you could want in a next level LB.
Gannon Young Gannon Young 6'1" | 165 lbs | WR Fountain Hills | 2024 State AZ , WR, Fountain Hills
Young is potentially the best hidden prospect in the state that is a legit FCS talent as he’s approaching 1,000 yards. Loose hips with good twitch for a guy with his length, as this allows him to frequently generate a clean and quick release with the ability to manipulate DB’s. Natural route runner with good change of direction and creativity in space, while still possessing route integrity. Good top end speed for big play ability as he’s proved to finish big plays, and is a sure vertical threat. He does an excellent job at winning those contested catches and possesses a good leaping ability with a great understand of leverage. He’s levels above every 3A WR in the state he possesses a huge upside moving forward with the ability to play both slot or outside at the next level, while also having the ability to be a special teams guy early on in his college career.
Christian Sanabria Christian Sanabria 6'1" | 175 lbs | WR Camp Verde | 2024 State AZ , WR, Camp Verde
Sanabria is another underrated WR prospect and shares a ton of similarities with Young. Really good top end speed for big play ability as he’s utilized in a variety of ways at Camp Verde. He does an excellent job at creating separation at the top of his routes with a nice burst, which often makes him more than wide open. He does a good job securing the catch while anticipating contact and isn’t afraid to run across the middle. He tracks the ball well downfield and shows good boundary awareness. Sanabria sizes up with a 6’2″ 180lb frame and shows the ability to utilize both speed and physicality depending on the scenario with a good positional IQ. Another top WR in his conference (2A), Sanabria also shows the ability to play both slot and outside at the next level and will compete against tougher competition given his skill level.
Cayden Gibson Cayden Gibson 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Arizona College Prep | 2024 State AZ , EDGE, Arizona College Prep
Gibson has continued to produce year after year and it’s finally coming to fruition for him. He has 9 sacks and 22 TFL’s and is an absolute menace coming off that edge or anywhere else he may line up. He plays with a mean streak and possesses a ton of competitive toughness and is only getting better. Jack Atkinson, QB, Scottsdale Christian
Atkinson sizes up with your ideal pocket passer frame at 6’4″ 195lbs and still has much more room to add mass. He holds one offer so far from Johns Hopkins, but has been having a stellar year and checking numerous boxes in which he deserves a rise in his stock. He does a good job standing tall and collected in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield and has shown to go through progression. He delivers with good timing and anticipation and has shown the ability to put balls there with both velocity and touch.
