, a quarterback for TN Stars 7v7. What impressed me about Dye was his ability to run the offense with ease, proving his quick release and accuracy in the air. I also liked Dye’s footwork and ability to maneuver the field to look for an open receiver. Dye’s calculated decision-making was another facet of his playstyle that made a huge difference offensively.
An All-County selection as both a seventh-and-eighth-grader, Dye was the heartbeat for Station Camp Middle School this year. Paced by Dye’s legs and left arm, the Bison won the Eastern Division before falling to the West Division-champion T.W. Hunter in the Sumner County championship game. The 5-foot-9, 160-pounder was named Station Camp’s Overall Team MVP, which is saying something, considering they had eight eighth-graders earn All-County recognition in 2023.

did this season for the Bison. Despite dropping the championship game in less than dramatic fashion by score of 28-3, Dye was a highlight show in every game he played. Helping to lead the Bison to a 5-0 Eastern Division mark and 6-2 overall record on the year, Dye showed off his dual-threat ability early and often during the season. However, he saved his most profitable run for the Eastern Division Championship game against Liberty Creek. On the play Dye zig-zagged his way 40 yards out of the shotgun formation and scored the game-winning touchdown to help notch the 14-12 victory. He’s listed at 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds (unverified) right now; If he can continue to play at this level and tack on some inches, he’ll have attention from the next level.
